Mavis is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) in California. She obtained her masters degree in nursing from Walden University in 2020. Mavis has been a healthcare practitioner for over 20 years, starting her nursing career as a CNA in 2003. She advanced her nursing career by obtaining her psychiatric technician license and practicing as a psych. tech. for over 6 years, then as an RN for over 8 years, and now as a board certified PMHNP.
